Pelosi Denied Communion

Abortion Must End Now
i've watched all the Catholics in the Obama administration for some time. Biden,Pelosi,Sebelius(in charge of all things,HHS)have all attacked Catholic doctrine. They have ALL opposed Catholic teaching in the public square. They have all supported and proposed policies that contradict what the Church teaches. If someone didn't tell you these folks were Catholic would you have known? The Church has the right and in fact has the RESPONSIBILITY to discipline members of the flock out of love. It's one of the spiritual works of mercy.Admonish the sinner. We are all sinners but here there is grave matter. Here the Church does what the Church is supposed to do.It's not to be 'legalistic' per se.It's out of compassion and love for the souls of the people put in her charge.

The Obama administration has attacked Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular. There's no getting around it.NO denying. Sebelius is in charge of the policy re Obamacare-the HHS mandate clearly violates freedom of conscience. For that matter the WHOLE Obamacare law violates the Constitution.I'll bring that up near the end of the week.Sen Mike Lee touched on that fact during the Sen Ted Cruz(you go Ted)'filibuster'. Back to the matter of pro abortion, pro same sex marriage supporters who are Catholic:

DETROIT, Sept. 24, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Despite strong criticism and a public rebuke from another bishop, Detroit’s Archbishop Allen Vigneron has reaffirmed his insistence that Catholics who support same-sex “marriage” should not receive Holy Communion.

Cardinal Burke said the same thing about Catholics who support abortion:
The Vatican's highest-ranking American said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other Catholic politicians who support abortion should be denied communion. "This is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin — cooperating with the crime of procured abortion — and still professes to be a devout Catholic," said Cardinal Raymond Burke, prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura in Rome. Burke's rebuke came during an interview with the Minneapolis-based Catholic Servant newspaper in July, but only came to national attention after another Catholic paper, The Wanderer, reprinted the article online. Father Z covered "POPE" Pelosi very well. http://wdtprs.com/blog/2010/06/speaker-nancy-the-theologian-pelosi-public-policy-must-conform-to-the-word-made-flesh/and here: http://wdtprs.com/blog/2012/02/dr-peters-canonist-on-nancy-pelosi-public-abortion-absolutist/ AND here http://wdtprs.com/blog/2013/06/fr-pavone-to-nancy-abortion-is-sacred-ground-pelosi-d-ca/ The truth is this: The Church has never supported abortion. Pope Francis has not changed an iota of Catholic doctrine re abortion, same sex marriage,euthanasia...any of the NON NEGOTIABLE issues. Canonical Defender, Prof. Ed Peters, wrote this:
As a canon lawyer, my view is that Nancy Pelosi deserves to be deprived of holy Communion as the just consequence of her public actions; as her fellow Catholic, my view is that Nancy Pelosi deserves to be deprived of holy Communion to bring home to her and to the wider faith community the gravity of her conduct and the need to avoid such conduct altogether or, that failing, at least to repent of it. Quickly. In March 2010, I expressed the view that Nancy Pelosi’s protracted and public anti-life conduct, which she repeatedly justifies with (twisted takes on) the Catholic faith, sufficed, in my view, to bring about her debarment from the reception of holy Communion under Canon 915. If Pelosi’s “prolonged public conduct does not qualify as obstinate perseverance in manifest grave sin,” I wrote two years ago, “then, in all sincerity, I must admit to not knowing what would constitute obstinate perseverance in manifest grave sin.”

How does this work? How do you claim to BE Catholic and not only NOT accept her doctrines but openly and deliberately attack the Catholic Church-the Church you claim to be part of? Sebelius comes to mind here too. She ran away from Raymong Arroyo of EWTN when he approached her. Evidently she knows she what she's doing is wrong. She couldn't face the truth. She is also the same official that denied help for Sarah Murnaghan, the 10-year-old Pennsylvania girl dying of cystic fibrosis. So much for having the corner on compassion. The Sebelius decision was just plain cruel. She gave the little girl a death sentence. She's in charge of Health and Human Services?

I will cut to the chase here.Abortion is not a choice. It's evil. Period.

I am a woman and i can tell you that i have no desire to take away a woman's right to make decisions. ALL of us have the right to make decisions about our lives.People who call themselves pro choice do so to change the argument. Instead of making the argument for what it's really all about-killing the unborn-they try to make it about a woman being able to choose killing her unborn baby. I get that there are people who don't see it that way.I grew up when abortion was illegal. It seems that they have taken the abortionist out of the back alley and put him into a 'respectable' office and called it 'healthcare.' I don't see the difference and nice language doesn't change the facts.

I don't want anyone's freedom taken away. I definitely want women empowered to make decisions about their lives. I also know that as a human being i do not have the right to take the life of another human being except perhaps in self defense. You can disagree but if you're Catholic you know what the Church teaches and it's plain as day.Abortion is intrinsically evil. Same sex marriage is intrinsically evil. We know that the Church teaches these are NON NEGOTIABLE issues. If you're a Catholic and in public office and oppose the Church re these matters-as well as have direct influence on policy-then it's grave matter. They cause scandal and lead others astray.

They bear more responsibility because of the positions they hold. Catholics for Choice supports these ppl-they also supported the Obama admin KNOWING full well where he stood. I'm all for choice too.I'm just opposed to killing the unborn. Fifty some million is GENOCIDE.All we have to do is remember that Pope Francis is Pope and Nancy Pelosi is NOT.

All these pro abortion, pro gay marriage Catholic politicians have to remember is that one day we all stand before God.NO office, money, power and acclaim is worth losing one's own soul.St Thomas More would not forfeit his soul for anything;not even an earthly king he once served-he died a martyr for the faith.
