I wrote a blog called the flying spaghetti monster-an atheist group put up that 'monument' next to the Nativity over Christmas and the blog responded to it.Now we have a Satanist group that wants to do almost the same thing.

Satanism to me is self indulgence,absorption and hedonism.I guess they would argue it hurts no one but that argument falls short. Actions have consequences. I would say sin has consequences.Whether you believe in sin and evil or not we have to know that actions have consequences.

Satanism claims that man can live up to his full potential(become like gods)by becoming self absorbed and indulgent. They might also say that either the mythical or real God just wants to spoil man's fun by being a tyrant. Let's be clear about what fun is and what joy is.Let's also be clear about what true freedom is and what actually makes us slaves. We can be enslaved by sin.Hedonism is seeking pleasure but it's called SEEKING for a reason.

Evil takes God's good purpose for man and turns it on its head. It's the lie of Satan all over again. For no other reason than Satan cannot destroy God(revenge)but he can destroy man-a being I posited Satan turned against from the beginning-so he attempts to destroy what God loves.What do you get?Chaos,disunity,hate,ugliness.If people think evil isn't ugly they aren't looking around much.

Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practice black magic,

and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and will save your soul,
